Plot-a-Thon introduces students to a range of hands-on data visualization skills that pushes them to develop skills with and beyond Excel.
Through workshops, speakers, and participation, Plot-a-Thon increases student awareness of data visualizations, and the value of using visuals to tell a data story.
The event draws expertise and knowledge from across disciplines to make this event an opportunity for interdisciplinary and collaborative learning.
We hope that this event will not only provide concrete skills in data visualizations through tools and application but also boost student confidence so that they may develop their skills after Plot-a-Thon in the direction that fits their professional goals.
