David Mora

David Mora currently is a software engineer with Atlassian where he collects data that helps him assess how to improve and grow their software products.  Back when David was a student at Stanford, it took him a while to figure out what he wanted to major in, like lots of other undergraduates, and eventually settled on Computer Science.  After graduating in 2018, his fascination for data visualizations carried him through a range of experiences from applying data analytics at a non-profit and to helping businesses make sense of their data–he’ll be sharing some of his work with you today. Outside of data visualizations, David is passionate about freestyle rap and playing jazz piano, bass, and guitar.

Andreya Peru

Andreya Peru received a BS and MBA from CSUCI. She believes that being able to give a visual representation of data is incredibly important. Ms. Peru notes, “People absorb data at different rates and in different ways but I’ve found that visualizations have the most impact. It gives us a way to speak to people who may be intimidated by long data sets or who say “I’m not a math person, I just don’t get it”. Visualizations bring data to life.” Today it is the fastest growing department at Marketing Maven, due to Peru’s innovation and leadership. She has educated teams, productized sophisticated research and led the company to new heights.
