Introducing Patrick Freeman! Patrick Freeman is a Lead Scientist at Conservation Science Partners (CSP). He uses his background in wildlife ecology and diverse skills in spatial analytics, statistical modeling, and data visualization to produce cutting-edge science for conservation. Collaborating with partners from federal agencies to non-profits, he delivers insights that can drive science-informed conservation. His work spans topics like modeling multi-species habitat connectivity to identifying priority areas for strategic advocacy against oil and gas drilling in the American West. Before joining CSP, Patrick dedicated himself to his unyielding passion for elephants as a research scientist at Utopia Scientific and has participated in international field research on elephants and other large mammals in Kenya, South Africa, and Namibia. Patrick holds an MSc in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Brown University, and MSc and BSc degrees in Earth Systems from Stanford University.
